Where is Reading? When does it end? What's a festival?
A: http://www.strictlyreading.co.uk/reading-festival-2008/ticket-informatio... you blind idiot
A: The official site should be selling them soon. If not, eBay will be your best bet.
http://www.bandmad.com/store/page3.asp?suptype=1&t=4&sub_type=422
A: eBay, grindstore.... basically just use google to find all the poster shops you can
A: Yes
A: I can get you longitude/latitude points if that helps. I'll get postcode shortly.
51.473468,-1.02013 for long/lat
A: No minimum age requirement but as stated here already (did you not read anything?), anyone under 16 has to be with an adult otherwise they will get thrown into a pit of snakes.
Is it appropriate for a 15 year old girl to be anywhere other than at home?
A: Yes, your camp.
A: No - you will be fine.
A: VIP access
A: Should be fine if you are talking about the Mach 3 type of razors
A: Everything depends on your experiences.
From residents of the festival, there is a fair bit of disruption around the area over the weekend and the festival can be quite loud.
I will get more information ASAP
A: I hope this is some sort of joke.
If there are no more places, then there are no more places.
Simple.
A: There should be although it's not 100% guaranteed
A: Legal drugs are no issue at all but you might have to go to the medicine tent to check it all out and possibly get a note from your GP about any medication you are taking.
A: It ook us 15 minutes at a nice pace. You can either go through the fetsival itself or along the river. Alternatively, you can take the boat down which is the best way of doing it.
It's no big deal.
A: Did you get an email? Did you read that email? Please tell me you did...
... tickets are sent out around 7-10 days before the festival starts. Last year, I got mine days before.
A: The very last second of Wednesday is the latest you can arrive on Wednesday.
A: Your best bet is to try the official store on the official site.
Fialing that, we would suggest eBay and just googling around. The chances that stores will have posters from any year apart from the most current one are pretty slim.
A: This question has already been answered. Please do take the time to look.
I won't answer it directly but will ask you a question instead. What's safer - a 16 year old out on the streets with people they don't know or with their friends in a like minded community enjoying themselves?
A: Yes - obviously.
Into the arena they do but not all the time into the festival campsite itself.
A: No. You can buy any amount up to 4 on any single card.
A: There isn't one!
If you are local to Berkshire then read this page which has all the info on it: http://www.strictlyreading.co.uk/node/390/
A: No unaccompanied under 16's. Any under 16's must be accompanied by a ticket holder over 18 years old. Under 13 (12 and under) are admitted free but MUST be accompanied by a ticket holding adult. Please note that there is no separate children's area at this event but there is a Family Camping area in red campsite.
A: ![]()
A: You can - however you have to work for the right company at the right time. The company in questions is: http://www.workersbeer.co.uk/
A: Again- the appropriate answer would be how safe is it around your local area? How safe is the U.K. in general?
99% of the people at Reading Festival are out to havea good time - they are welcoming, nice, polite and there to enjoy themselves. First time festival goers may find the first night intimidating (noise) but they'll soon adapt, knowing everyone there is just up for a good time.
Anyone young MUST NOT be left alone. We can't stress this enough.
A: The appropriate answer would be how safe is it around your local area? How safe is the U.K. in general? There are drinks and drugs on every street corner!!!
The festival environment is no different. The majority of people are on one sort of drug or another (tobacco, alcohol...) We would be telling lies if we said people were not drunk. However, the majority are friendly, welcoming and nice and if you use common sense, there willbe no issues.
Your 14 year old daughter MUST stick with the 18 year old friend at all times though.
