When was the first ever Reading Festival?1961 technically. In 1972, the festival, now known as the National Jazz, Blues, Folk and Blues Festival was in place. The event is known as the Reading Rock Festival in 1978.

Is there a minimum age requirement at the Festival? Is it appropriate for a 15 year old girl to attend Reading?No minimum age requirement but as stated here already (did you not read anything?), anyone under 16 has to be with an adult otherwise they will get thrown into a pit of snakes. Is it appropriate for a 15 year old girl to be anywhere other than at home?
