Glasvegas, Late Of The Pier plus 35 more bands for Reading And Leeds Glasvegas on the John Peel Stage, Friday 1pm. With frontman James Allan wearing his now-trademark Ray Ban sunglasses and the band clad in black, Glasvegas played a set including recent single 'Geraldine' and 2007 debut single 'Daddy's Gone', both of which prompted mass sing-alongs in the crowd. Having picked up two Grammy nominations for Best Pop Performance & Best Song the future looks increasingly bright and these shows have the potential to push the band further into the rock stratosphere. Radio 1 AdditionsWe understand Alexisonfire and Kids In Glass Houses will play the Radio 1 stage at Reading/Leeds Festivals. Lock-up AdditionsStrictly Reading understands Less Than Jake will headline the Lock Up stage at Reading/Leeds, with Pennywise, Goldfinger and The Unseen also scheduled to perform at Reading on Friday, August 22 and Leeds on Saturday, August 23. Strictly Reading believes the Lock Up line up, for Saturday 23rd Reading / Sunday 24th Leeds is as follows: Gallows, Alkaline Trio, Thrice, Flogging Molly, MXPX, Cancer Bats, Set Your Goals, The King Blues, Fucked Up, The Gaslight Anthem and Random Hand.
