Ticket Advice

Reading Festival Tickets

Tickets are sold on the condition that they are not transferable. Tickets purchased from any unauthorized sources will not be valid for entry e.g. Internet Auction sites. However - this hasn't stopped several thousand being successful.

Update 01

  • Meanfiddler do condone Scarlet Mist and Stop Tout this as a trading site instead of the Auction sites:
  • Anyone finding themselves with a spare ticket for this years festival might be interested in the free festival ticket exchange service provided by Scarlet Mist and Stop Tout.
  • The service is fast, private and tries to match buyers and sellers locally. Tickets must be traded at their face value (no ticket touts!). People trading on the site are encouraged to donate £20 to Oxfam, WaterAid, Greenpeace or Medicins Sans Frontieres.
  • Please note: Mean Fiddler and Reading & Leeds Festivals are not responsible for information held on the Scarlet Mist website or related materials and do not necessarily endorse any views expressed within it. IT IS NOT A MEAN FIDDLER SITE AND AS EVER WE WOULD ASK YOU TO PROCEED WITH CAUTION WHEN BUYING OR SELLING.
  • For more information please visit Scarlet Mist and Stop Tout

Update 02

  • The pressure that customers have put on getmetickets has caused a trading enquiry into the company. Ticket agency Getmetickets.net, which provoked anger from many music fans, has been shut by the government.
  • Also BBC Breakfast News are looking for a case study of someone who has been a victim of ticket touting. If anybody knows of any please can they contact Lou Thomas at the TSI Press Office 0870 872 9030
  • Beware of unauthorised ticket agencies including eBay, buying from them can be a lot of trouble - You are likely to pay over the odds for a Ticket that is will have never existed or might never materialise.
